Overview
The agency feature in BidX combines the management of multiple advertiser accounts, giving you full control. You can create new client accounts, assign different roles such as Administrator, Account Manager, and Advertiser, and set precise permissions for every area. With the central dashboard, you always have an overview of all accounts, their Amazon connections, and assigned rights. Switching between accounts is quick and easy, and you can assign or monitor SoV credits anytime.
Accessing the Function
You can find the main management functions for agencies via the main menu at the top right (avatar icon). The following key features are available:
- Manage Advertisers: View and manage all client accounts.
- Switch Advertiser: Instantly switch to another advertiser account for direct management.
- Back to Main Account: Exit a client account and return to your own agency account.
Features at a Glance
Open Advertiser List: Overview & Actions
Start by selecting Manage Advertisers from the menu. The table displays all your client accounts at a glance. You can filter by email addresses and see whether the account is already connected to Amazon. The permissions column shows access levels for "Dashboards", "Management", and "Discover". Depending on the context, you can Log in, Edit, or Delete accounts. Clicking Edit (pencil icon) also shows all Amazon profiles linked to the account.
Add New Account: Structure & Set Rights
To add a new client account, click Create New Account. First, select the Account Type:
- Administrator: Full privileges, can manage all accounts and use every feature.
- Account Manager: For team members who should only manage selected clients. Here you define which advertisers this account can access.
- Advertiser: Access only to their own account, no agency rights.
More information about adding new accounts can be found here.
Edit Existing Advertiser: Adjust Roles, Brands & Permissions
Edit existing client accounts directly from the list using Edit. All settings, such as role, brand assignment, or permissions, can be changed later. Setting permissions to "Custom" allows you to specify exactly which page gets which permissions.
Switch Quickly Between Advertisers: Work in Client Context
With Switch Advertiser in the user menu, open a selection window with all assigned client accounts. Use the search to quickly find the advertiser you need and click Switch Now to access. This lets you manage each client account in its own context with all settings and data visible. Account Managers will only see accounts they have permission to access.
Return to Your Own Account: End Session
After working in a client account, use Back to Main Account in the menu to conveniently return to your central agency dashboard.
Monitor Share of Voice Credits
If enabled, you'll find your Share of Voice Credits under Manage Advertisers. Here, you can see the total remaining credits and, in the table, each subaccount's available credits. This helps you distribute resources optimally within your portfolio.
Settings & Options
If an account is not yet connected to Amazon, you’ll be notified when trying to take any actions. In this case, go to Account Settings in the Amazon Connection section to link the account. The main management options are always accessible via the user menu, where you can quickly reach client management, account switching, and return to your main account.
Limitations & Special Notes
- Managing advertisers is reserved for the Administrator role.
- Account switching is also available to Account Managers and for inherited permissions.
- Individual page rights are set separately for each section, with options for Full Access, View Only, or No Access.
- If shown as "not connected" in the overview, the advertiser is currently not linked to an Amazon account.
- Error messages like “You do not have access to this function” or “This account is not yet ready for user management” indicate missing permissions or preparations – in these cases, support can help.
Tips & Best Practices
- Create specific Account Manager accounts with tailored permissions for employees rather than using general administrator roles.
- Use custom permission management to control access for each page, for example, “View Only” for “Discover”.
- Distribute Share of Voice Credits among subaccounts consciously to ensure fair allocation.
- Regularly check that all accounts are successfully connected to Amazon to ensure smooth data transfers and up-to-date insights into campaigns.
