In this article you'll learn about the dynamic bidding strategy and bids by placement.

Dynamic Bidding Strategies

You can choose between the following three strategies:
 
1. Dynamic (down only)

Amazon lowers your bids in real time if your ad is less likely to convert into a purchase. All campaigns created before January 2019 used this setting.


2. Dynamic (up and down)

Amazon increases your bids (by up to 100%) in real time when your ad is more likely to convert to a sale, and lowers your bids when it is less likely to convert to a sale.


3. Fixed Bids

Amazon uses your exact bid and any manual adjustments you have set and does not make any adjustments to your bids based on the likelihood of a sale.

Adjust bids by placement

In addition to your bidding strategy, you can increase bids by up to 900%. This option replaces Bid+. You can increase bids for: 

  • Top of Search
  • Product Detail Pages 

All other results are referred to as Rest of search , which cannot be increased.
