How does the system react when changes are made in Seller Central (SC) or the Advertising Console? Will the system recognize them?
Yes, the system will recognize them and will take them into account. The same applies for bids changed via other tools. In this case, the counter for aggregating the data for the automatic adjustments is reset. All clicks, sales etc. are counted again from the day of the last adjustment. The last 72h are ignored due to the incomplete attribution of the sales.
Attention! Be aware that manually changing the bid will set the performance data to zero and the algorithm will start optimizing from the beginning. For temporary bid changes we recommend using the Boost-function, since the traffic is maintained here.
