How does the system react when changes are made in Seller Central (SC) or the Advertising Console? Will the system recognize them?
Yes, the system will recognize them and will take them into account. The same applies for bids changed via other tools. In this case, the counter for aggregating the data for the automatic adjustments is reset. All clicks, sales etc. are counted again from the day of the last adjustment. The next adjustment is generally made 72 hours after the last bid adjustment at the earliest, due to the fact that the attribution of sales is still incomplete.
Attention! Be aware that manually changing the bid will set the performance data to zero and the algorithm will start optimizing from the beginning. For temporary bid changes we recommend using the Boost-function, since the traffic is maintained here.
