Why Is My Total ACOS Showing 0%?
Total ACOS shows you how much of your sales go toward ad spend. This article explains why it can display 0% and how to fix it.
Answer
The Total ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sale) is shown in the dashboard as a key performance indicator (KPI). The calculation is simple: “Paid Cost” divided by “Total Sales”. This helps you understand your advertising costs in relation to your total revenue. If your Total ACOS shows 0%, it usually means that either no costs or no total sales were recorded within the selected period. Common reasons include very recent date ranges, missing sales, restrictive filters, or the chosen attribution window.
To calculate Total ACOS, you need a connection to the Selling Partner API. Only with this connection can we access organic data such as organic sales. If the connection is not yet set up or the access token has expired, you need to reconnect the Selling Partner API. You can find instructions on how to connect the Selling Partner API here.
Tips & Best Practices
- Use at least the “Last 30 Days” time frame for a more realistic assessment.
- First check the date range, then filters and grouping, and finally the attribution window.
- Try out the temporary date range to quickly see if a different time period shows values.
- Check your Selling Partner API connection and reconnect if needed.
