Why Can’t I See Data in the Dashboard?
Your dashboard gives you a quick overview of your performance. If you don’t see any data or charts, there could be several reasons—such as missing connections, empty dashboards, or temporary data limits.
Response
If your dashboard isn’t showing any data, this is usually due to one of the following reasons: No data sources (e.g. Amazon accounts) are connected, there isn’t a dashboard or charts created yet, your subscription is inactive or there are outstanding invoices, data is currently being collected, or a temporary fetching limit is in place. You can check for the issue step by step:
- Are your Amazon connections active? Under Manage Advertisers, check which accounts are connected and connect any missing ones if needed. If necessary, click Reload Amazon Data to start fetching the data.
- Do you see a message that no dashboards or charts currently exist? If so, use Create New Dashboard to set up a new one and then Add Element to add the desired charts. You can also use the Insert Default Data option for a helpful starting selection.
- Is the Selling Partner API (SP‑API) connected? You can also find this connection under Manage Advertisers. If profiles are missing, connect them and reload the data.
- Is your subscription and all invoices up to date? Check under Subscription Settings. If there are unpaid or overdue invoices, data and functions may be suspended.
- Do you see messages like "Please wait until all data has been loaded…"? This means new data is being collected or a fetch limit is in place. Wait a bit and try again later.
- Does the dashboard show a note such as "No Subscription Date set. Some charts may not load correctly"? Then the required start date for data display is missing. You can add this under Account Settings.
- When you connect a new Amazon account, a message may appear indicating that data is still being collected and merged. In this case, the dashboard can remain empty for 2 to 3 days. This is normal, and data will appear after the waiting period.
Settings & Options
Via the User Menu under Manage Advertisers, you can connect, disconnect, and check the status of your Amazon profiles. Subscription Settings lets you monitor your current subscription status, invoices, and payments. You can manually fetch data by clicking Reload Amazon Data in the navigation.
Limitations & Special Notes
- After connecting a new Amazon account, it can take 2 to 3 days before all data appears in the dashboard.
- During periods of high load, Amazon may temporarily limit API calls. In this case, just wait and try loading the data again later.
Tips & Best Practices
- Keep your data connections up to date, and only activate Reload Amazon Data when it’s really necessary.
