With schedules, you can control automations such as Boosts or timed status changes for your campaigns. If a schedule is paused or deleted, this affects any planned future actions.
Answer
If you pause or delete a schedule that includes Boost actions, you’ll be asked how to handle the currently active Boosts. You have three options:
- Keep Boost: Your current bids and budgets will remain exactly as they are. The Boost value also stays unchanged.
- Reset Boost: Your bids and budgets stay as they are, but the Boost value in BidX is reset to 0 percent.
- Set Boost to 0: In this case, your bids and budgets are actively reset to their original values and the Boost value in BidX is also set to 0 percent.
If you only want to pause a schedule that uses Boosts, the same options apply.
For performance schedules that contain Boosts, this selection dialog will not appear. In this case, the last used bid or budget remains after pausing or deleting, and must be reset manually.
If a schedule doesn’t contain Boosts, this selection dialog will also not appear. In these cases, pausing or deleting is done immediately – all planned executions for that schedule are stopped and won’t continue.
Accessing the Function
You’ll find the management of your schedules in the Management area under Schedule. In that list, select the desired schedule. To pause it, use the On/Off toggle. To delete a schedule, open the menu for the respective schedule and select Delete.
