Available Ad Types

For Amazon Advertising, BidX supports the following ad formats:

  • Sponsored Products
  • Sponsored Brands
  • Sponsored Display
  • Amazon DSP

Within Sponsored Brands, you have options such as Sponsored Brands Video Ads, Store Spotlight, and Product Collection (Landing Page). This lets you showcase your products according to your needs and try different ad strategies.

Settings & Options

To create Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns, your Amazon account must be linked to a registered brand. If your brand is not linked, these ad types will appear disabled in the selection menu. You can choose the ad format you want, for example, in the Campaign Creator under Select Ad Type.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • For Sponsored Brands, keep in mind that certain performance data like "Cost", "Clicks" and "Impressions" at the ASIN level are not available, as Amazon does not provide these details.
  • The availability of the different marketplaces also requires an active Amazon advertiser profile for each specific country. Make sure the necessary permissions and access data are set up in your Amazon account.

Tips & Best Practices

If you are new to BidX, it is recommended to start with your main market, such as Germany or the USA. After that, you can expand your ad reach to other marketplaces. Sponsored Brands Video Ads are especially effective for products with compelling video content and a clear brand message. In the area of Sponsored Brands, it's useful to test formats like Store Spotlight and Product Collection (Landing Page) to find out which entry point works best for your audience. A well-balanced mix of Sponsored Products and Sponsored Display campaigns helps you ensure visibility for your brand throughout the whole funnel.
