What Happens When I Manually Change Bids on Amazon?
Manual bid adjustments in the Amazon Ads Console let you keep full control of your campaigns. BidX automatically detects these changes and adapts future automations accordingly.
Answer
If you change a bid directly in the Amazon Advertising Console, the system immediately recognizes this without any extra action needed. Every night, we retrieve all keyword and target data and compare your bid history. As soon as we detect that the current value differs from the last saved bid, we flag it as the "most recent adjustment" and automatically reset the counter for days since the previous change. This ensures that rules and automations will always wait long enough for statistically significant results after the latest adjustment.
Please note that such manual changes will not appear in the BidX adjustment logs, as those only record actions that our platform actively sends to Amazon. So you can always make manual adjustments on Amazon without disrupting BidX's processes.
