What Does It Mean to Hide or Remove Products?

With the 'Hide' or 'Remove' function in Product Settings, you can easily manage product visibility and keep full control.

Overview

The product list in Product Settings shows all your managed products. Here, you have several options for each product:

  • With Hide Product, you temporarily hide a product from your view.
  • With Show Product, you can make hidden products visible again.
  • With Remove Product, you permanently delete a product from your account. It will no longer appear in Product Settings and will not be considered for rules, automations, etc.

Accessing the Function

You can access the hide and remove options in the Product Settings section, in the top right of a product, either by selecting "Hide Product" or using the menu (the three dots).

Features

Temporarily Hide a Product (Pause Ads)

To temporarily make a product invisible, hover over it in the list. The Hide Product button will appear. Click it to open a confirmation dialog with "Confirm" or "Cancel" options. If you select Confirm, the related ads are paused and the product is shown in greyed-out with the new Show Product button. If you select Cancel, nothing is changed. If the product is already hidden, you'll see the Show Product button directly.

Show a Hidden Product Again (Reactivate Ads)

For a greyed-out product, simply click Show Product. The product will immediately display as normal and all ads will be reactivated. No further confirmation is needed.

Permanently Remove a Product from the List

To completely remove a product, open the action menu (the three-dot icon on the right). Choose Remove Product to open a dialog: "Do you really want to remove the selected product?" Click Delete to remove it from the management list for good. Select Cancel to keep the product. You can use this step for both visible and already hidden products.

Hide Individual Marketplace SKUs

Apart from entire products, you can hide specific SKUs from selected marketplaces. To do this, expand the product row and in the marketplace table for each country, you will see an eye-icon. If the icon is visible, you can click it to hide the SKU. After confirmation, only this marketplace SKU is hidden. If you want to reactivate a hidden SKU, just click the eye-icon again.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • When you use Remove Product, the product is completely removed from the management list and cannot be brought back in Product Settings.
  • The eye-icon controls the visibility of SKUs for each marketplace separately, letting you manage visibility per country or platform.
  • Confirmation dialogs always give you a chance to review actions before anything is applied.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use Remove Product only if you no longer plan to manage a product, for example, if the product line is discontinued.
