Overview

While segments generally apply across all marketplaces, automations and individual rules are always tied to the currently selected marketplace. This means you can create specific campaign and rule sets for different countries or markets, keeping full control over where each setting applies.

Currently, the following marketplaces are available in BidX: Germany, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, and India.

Marketplaces on the Platform

Throughout the entire platform, you will find various options to select or filter marketplaces. The following is an overview of some features that require you to choose a marketplace and what you can set or manage there.

Marketplaces in Segment Management
All segments you create apply across all marketplaces. However, the actual settings and individual rules or automations within these segments only affect the marketplace selected within the rule or automation itself.

In the segment overview, you can select a marketplace at the top. By using the Select Marketplace element, you’ll see a list of your connected marketplaces such as DE, US, UK, and others. Depending on the marketplace selected, only the automations and rules for that marketplace will be displayed in the segments.

If you want to expand an existing rule/automation to another marketplace, you can do this by using the Edit Individual Rule or Edit Automation feature.

Marketplaces in the Product Settings
In the Product Settings, you can view detailed product information per marketplace. Open a product by expanding its detailed view and check the values in the columns Status, Main BSR (Best Seller Rank of the main category), Main Category, Sub BSR, and Subcategory. If no data is available for a marketplace, the relevant fields may remain empty.

Marketplaces in Keyword Management Settings
In the keyword management settings, you can choose which marketplaces you want to use for keyword management. You’ll see all the marketplaces available to you, giving you the option to exclude specific ones according to your strategy.

Marketplaces in Campaign Creator
With the Campaign Creator, you can create new campaigns for individual marketplaces. If you need campaign structures for several countries, simply repeat the process for each marketplace. To speed things up, you can use the Campaign Creator Template to create templates for your campaigns, so you don’t have to enter all settings every time.

Marketplaces in Automations & Rules
When creating Automations & Rules, you can specifically assign your desired marketplaces. These rules and automations will then only apply to the selected marketplaces.
If you want automations and rules to apply to other countries later, you can add those marketplaces by editing the individual rule or automation as needed.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Segments generally apply across marketplaces, but their automations and rules only affect the currently active marketplace.
  • Settings in Keyword Management also only affect the marketplaces you have activated.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Always select the correct marketplace before making changes to campaigns, rules, or segments.
  • If you need similar controls across countries, create automations and rules consistently for each active marketplace individually.
  • Regularly check your product data for each marketplace so you can make informed decisions based on margin, main and sub BSR, as well as category.
