What Can I Use Folders For?

Folders in scheduling help you keep track of many schedules. They let you organize, manage, and control your schedules in a clear and efficient way.

Answer

You can use folders to group your schedules in a meaningful way, organize them hierarchically, and manage them as a group. Within a folder, you can create additional subfolders as well as individual schedules. Using a folder’s status switch, you can activate or deactivate all schedules and subfolders inside it at once. With a dialog, you can easily assign individual schedules to a folder or remove them by moving them back to the root level. This way, folders provide clear organization and save time on recurring actions.

Accessing the Function

Navigate to Schedule to view your schedules. In the header, you'll find the Create New Folder button, which you can use to add a new folder. To assign a schedule to a folder or change its assignment, use the Assign Folder function from the three-dot menu next to each schedule.

Settings & Options

Clicking Create New Folder opens the dialog to create a folder. Here, you can enter a name for the folder under Folder Name and select a parent folder under Folder. If you do not want to assign a parent folder, you can choose the Do Not Assign to Any Folder option. Click Save to create your folder.

More functions for existing folders are available in the row menu, accessible via the three dots next to the folder:

  • With Edit Schedule Folder, you can change the folder's name or move it under another folder
  • with Delete Schedule Folder you can delete the folder along with all contained subfolders and schedules.

Next to each folder name, you’ll find a switch that lets you activate or deactivate all contents of the folder.

If you want to assign a schedule to a folder, use the Assign Folder option in the three-dot menu next to a schedule. You can select both parent and subfolders for the assignment.
