Overview
The aggregation feature condenses multiple "Product Ads" into a single row per ASIN. This immediately gives you an overview of total and key performance metrics by product. You can filter and sort based on these values and continue to use important actions, like status changes, for one or more products. You can easily switch to the aggregated view via a toggle in the table.
Accessing the Function
You can find this function in Analytics under the Product Ads tab. The Analytics section has different tabs such as Marketplaces, Portfolios, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Targets, Negative Targets, Product Ads, and Search Terms. Aggregation is only available in the Product Ads tab.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open Analytics
First, open Analytics and select the Product Ads tab. Here, you'll find your list of ads. Note that the aggregation button only appears in this tab. For example, if you are in Marketplaces or Campaigns, you won’t see this feature.
Step 2: Enable Aggregation
Now enable the Aggregate ASIN feature using the toggle in the top right of the table bar. Once active, all ads for a product are shown as one aggregated row per ASIN, and their performance metrics are totaled. This is especially useful if you manage multiple ads per product or want to compare performance at the ASIN level. As soon as you turn aggregation on, the list reloads. To go back to the detailed view, simply toggle it off.
Step 3: Set Date Range and Filters
Next, set your desired time period by clicking the Date Range button and selecting a period. The table will automatically update. You can quickly switch to Previous 30 Days or Next 30 Days. With Add Filter, you can narrow your view by product/ASIN, campaign, or status. Use Reset Filter to remove all filters. To share your view with teammates, use Copy URL – this will include all applied filters, sorted columns, and the selected time period.
Step 4: Adjust Columns
You can tailor your view by clicking Edit Columns. Here, select which metrics and info you want to see. Choosing Select All displays all available columns. Your selection is saved to your user account and will be loaded again the next time you use the tool.
Settings & Options
With Copy URL, you can share your current view including the time range, filters, sorting, and aggregation state. Your chosen columns are saved, so you'll see your usual setup next time you return.
Limitations & Special Notes
- Aggregation is only available in the Product Ads tab – this feature is not accessible elsewhere.
- For large date ranges or high numbers of entries, loading may take longer since the data loads page by page.
- In the aggregated view, any changes (such as Change Status) apply to all single ads for the chosen product.
Tips & Best Practices
- Select a meaningful time period to start with (e.g., the last 30 days) and enable aggregation to easily compare product performance.
- Use Add Filter to show only relevant data before aggregation.
- With Edit Columns, display only the metrics you really need for your analysis and decision-making.
