Overview

BidX regularly syncs all active products and campaigns from your Amazon account. You cannot permanently delete these items, but you can decide which products are visible or actively managed in the tool. With the Product Picker you control which products are included in BidX. You can specifically hide individual products. For campaigns, you have options to pause or archive them to manage their status. If you don't want BidX to optimize a campaign, keep it active and leave it out of any segments so no automation or rule will apply.

Accessing the Function

To manage your products and campaigns, you will find the relevant sections here:

  • Segment Management: Use the Product Settings tab to view all related product settings.
  • Product Picker: Access this area via the user menu under Product Selection.

Step-by-Step Guide

Making Products Visible or Invisible

Go to Segment Management and switch to Product Settings. Use the search field to find a product by ASIN, title, SKU, or brand name.
If you want to remove a product from your current management list, use the Remove Product option. The product will then no longer be managed by BidX. The Hide Product option only controls the product's display in the tool via filters.

Product Picker: Selecting Products to Manage

In the Product Picker area, you decide which products BidX will manage. Open it from the user menu under Product Selection. Select which products you want to include or exclude. The Save Changes option applies your selection – note that it may take up to 24 hours for changes to take effect in the tool.
The Automatically Add New Products option lets you set whether new Amazon products should be automatically managed in the future. Use Add All Displayed Products or Remove All Displayed Products to manage entire groups with a few clicks. Use the search field to filter for specific items. If you can't access the Product Picker, please contact your Account Manager.

Changing Campaign Status: Pause or Archive

To change the status of campaigns, use the settings in Analytics. You can use multi-select in the Campaigns tab to choose several campaigns and change their Status using the options Active, Paused, or Archived.

  • Paused stops delivery of the campaign but it remains available and can be reactivated later.
  • Archived removes the campaign, not just from active management in BidX but also from Amazon itself.
If you're updating multiple campaigns, you can select and edit them together.

Settings & Options

Within Product Settings you will find various filter and selection options:

  • Visibility: Show all, only visible, or hidden products.
  • Product Status: Filter by active or inactive products.
  • Other criteria like marketplace, profile, and tags are also available.

Set whether new products should be managed automatically using the Automatically Add New Products toggle in the Product Picker.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Changes made in the Product Picker or Product Settings can take up to 24 hours to appear.
  • Hiding a product only affects how it is displayed in the tool, but it still exists in Amazon.
  • For campaigns, pausing is preferred over archiving since archived campaigns cannot be reactivated.
  • If no connection to the relevant Amazon profiles exists, lists may appear empty – make sure all profiles are connected properly.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Check your ad group structure before removing a product to avoid unintended side effects.
  • Pause campaigns for tests or short breaks. Use archiving only for permanent removal.
  • Enable automatic addition of new products if you regularly expand your assortment.
