Overview

In "Analytics" you will find various data areas such as Marketplaces, Portfolios, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Targets, Negative Targets, Product Ads, and Search Terms. Each of these views shows you key metrics in tables, such as Sales, Costs, Clicks, Impressions, or ACOS. Most columns can be easily sorted by clicking the column header: either descending (highest values first) or ascending (smallest values first).

Accessing the Function

You can access the sorting feature by clicking on Analytics in the main menu and then selecting any of the following tabs: Marketplaces, Portfolios, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Targets, Negative Targets, Product Ads, or Search Terms.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Select a Tab

First, open Analytics and go to the area whose data you want to sort, for example, Campaigns, Ad Groups, or Search Terms. Just pick the relevant tab from the navigation bar.

Step 2: Choose a Column to Sort

Click the header of the column you want to sort your data by, such as Sales, Costs, Orders, Clicks, Impressions, ACOS, ROAS, CVR, CPC, Units Sold, Daily Budget, Std. Bid, Bid, or Created At.
Clicking once on a sortable column sorts the table in descending order. A second click reverses the sorting. A third click removes the sorting.
Not all columns are sortable. Sortable columns are clearly indicated or react accordingly.
Often, the default sorting is by Sales in descending order.

Step 3: Keep Sorting and Switch Between Views

When you switch between tabs in “Analytics,” your current sorting setting is retained. With Copy URL (via the Analytics toolbar), you can save or share the current view including filters, date range, and sorting.
If you change the time range, the table reloads – sorting is then applied to the new data.

Settings & Options

With Add Filter, you can further filter the view by marketplace, campaign, status, types, or numeric values (like costs). Filters and sorting work independently; for example, you can filter all entries with at least 100 clicks and then sort by Sales in descending order.
Use Copy URL to save often-used views for yourself or colleagues and open them again later.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Not all columns are sortable. Sortable columns can be recognized by their active response and visible sorting indicator.
  • The first click on a column sorts it in descending order – the highest values are shown at the top.
  • With large amounts of data, reloading after sorting may take a moment. Data is usually displayed page by page.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Combine the sorting feature with Add Filter to see the most important values within a subset first.
  • Use Edit Columns to specifically display, compare, and sort relevant metrics.
  • Take advantage of Copy URL to save commonly used analyses or easily share them with colleagues.
