Overview

In your account settings, you will find the Delete Account section, where you can completely remove your access. Once the process is complete, you will be automatically logged out. Deleting your account also removes all existing Amazon connections. If you are the last user in your company, additional actions will take place: any Amazon profiles linked to your company will be deactivated or removed.

Accessing the Function

You can find this function in your Account Settings. Just select the menu item Delete Account.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open Account Settings

Start on the dashboard and open your Account Settings. Here, you will see an overview of all your account settings. In the menu, select Delete Account to access the account deletion area. If you do not see this option, the BidX support team will be happy to help.

Step 2: Enter the “Delete Account” Section

Click on Delete Account in the left settings menu. You will then see an explanation of why and how you can delete your account. Use the Delete Account button to start the deletion process.

If you have an active subscription at this time, the deletion process will begin but then be interrupted (see the next step and “Limitations & Special Notes”).

Step 3: Confirm Deletion

After starting the process, a dialog will appear with the message: “Do you want to delete your account and remove all Amazon connections?” You can now choose between Delete Now and Cancel. If you select Delete Now, your account will be deleted at the earliest possible moment, you will be automatically logged out, and your Amazon connections will be removed.

If you still have an active subscription, the process will be stopped and you’ll see: “Failed to delete your account: You still have an active subscription. Please cancel your subscription before deleting your BidX account.”

Step 4: What Happens After Deletion?

After successful deletion, you will be automatically logged out. Your access to BidX will be removed; if you were the last user in your company, all company-specific Amazon profiles will also be deactivated or removed. If there are still active users in the company, their accounts remain active – only your personal access is deleted.

Settings & Options

You have the option to restore a deleted account. If you deleted your account by mistake or want to reactivate it, use the recovery email or contact BidX support for individual assistance.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • You cannot delete your account if you have an active subscription. You will see the message: “Failed to delete your account: You still have an active subscription. Please cancel your subscription before deleting your BidX account.”
  • If you delete the last user in your company, all Amazon profiles and country settings will be removed and Selling Partner profiles deactivated.
  • After completing the deletion, you will be automatically logged out and no longer have access.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Cancel your current subscription before trying to delete your account. This will help the process run smoothly.
  • Check if there are other users in your company who still need access. If you want to remove all company data, make sure you are the last remaining user.
  • Back up any important reports or information outside of BidX before deleting your account.
