Overview

The time it takes to load your dashboard data depends on several factors: whether you are fetching entirely new data, the selected date range, how many charts are displayed in your dashboard, and if you have integrated external data sources like "Share of Voice" (SOV). For newly created dashboards or data sources, it can take several days for all information to be loaded and assigned for the first time.

Accessing the Function

To open your dashboard, go to Dashboards in the menu and select the dashboard you want. If you don't have a dashboard yet, use Create New Dashboard to make one. After creation, no data will be visible until you add charts.

Various Factors

Adding Charts or Loading Default Content

To fill your dashboard with data, use the Add Element button to insert charts, scorecards, or tables. New elements need some time after creation to gather and display data for the first time. Progress indicators on each card show you the loading status.

Date and Filter Selection

The speed of data display also depends on the selected date range and applied filters. Shorter periods under Date load faster, while longer periods, like several months, will slow things down. Use Filter to narrow down by marketplace, campaign, ASIN, or tag. Use Temporarily: in the actions bar to apply filters for your current session only.

Number of Products

The number of selected products/ASINs also affects how fast data is shown. Selecting many products or ASINs can slow down loading. You can also filter by marketplace, campaign, or tag for faster results.

Pay Attention to Data Availability Notes

Important information about your data status is shown directly on each card. After creating new charts, you may see Loading ... as data is being fetched. In brand new accounts or charts, you may see: “Your data is currently being collected and processed. It can take up to 2-3 days after setup for your data to appear here.” This means background processes are still running. For "Share of Voice" charts, updates typically happen at set intervals, so there can be a delay before you see new changes.

AMC/DSP/Export – Special Notes on Data Updates

If you're using an AMC dashboard, AMC data only appears after your activation request is complete. When Exporting your dashboard data, expect some delay: automatic exports by email are usually sent weekly (e.g., on Tuesdays), monthly (on the 5th), or about five days after the reporting period ends. This timing ensures all numbers are complete and accurate. Sometimes, the Export button may be disabled temporarily until the current export is finished.

Settings & Options

Use Dashboard Sorting, Dashboard Settings, and Manage Templates to arrange dashboards and adjust their layout. These settings only affect appearance, not the timeliness of your data. Scheduled Exports (e.g., weekly, monthly, or reporting-based) control when exported data is sent. Shipping is deliberately delayed to ensure data is matched correctly.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • The initial loading of new charts or accounts can take up to 2-3 days. Only after initial collection and matching will you see the related data.
  • While loading, cards often show Loading ... or the page may briefly show a loading spinner.
  • “Share of Voice” data is updated at regular intervals; short-term changes are only visible after the next scheduled update.
  • Exports are deliberately sent with a delay, usually a few days after the selected period ends.
  • With read-only rights, you can view dashboards but not add new elements.
  • Large time ranges or too many charts can greatly increase loading times.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Limit the Date Range at first for quick insights, then gradually expand your analysis.
  • Use Filters or the Temporarily: function to narrow down your data for faster loading.
  • For "Share of Voice" charts, allow some extra time for scheduled updates.
  • Keep dashboards tidy by removing unneeded charts or separating them into several dashboards to keep loading times stable.
