1. Overview
In the Analytics table, you can select multiple rows to make changes to them at once. This saves time and helps keep your workflow organized, especially when working with large data sets or performing bulk actions.
2. Accessing the Function
Go to Analytics via the main menu and select a relevant tab, such as Marketplaces, Portfolios, Campaigns, Ad Groups, Targeting, Negative Targeting, or Product Ads. The multi-select option can be found on the left side of the table as checkboxes.
3. Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Choose a Tab
First, open the Analytics section and select the desired tab from the top menu, e.g., Campaigns. When you switch tabs, the table and available filters update automatically to match your selection.
Step 2: Multi-Select
You will see checkboxes to the left of each table row, letting you select individual rows. The header checkbox selects all entries on the current page. After clicking it, a selection bar and counter appear, along with the button (Select up to {count} entries that match your query). This allows you to select all applicable entries across all pages–but up to a maximum of 1,500.
Note: The header checkbox always selects only the current page. The special button lets you select all results up to the limit.
Step 3: Perform an Action
After you make a selection, additional action options appear at the top–these depend on the selected tab. For example, you can perform bulk edits or adjust table settings.
The following options are available by tab:
- Marketplaces: No multi-select actions
- Portfolios: No multi-select actions
- Campaigns:
- Status change: Enable, Pause, Archive
- Adjust budget: Increase, Decrease, Set; in % or currency
- Change boost: Bids & budgets / bids only / budgets only; values 0%, 100%, 300% or custom
- Reset boost
- Ad Groups:
- Status change: Enable, Pause, Archive
- Adjust default bid: Increase, Decrease, Set; in % or currency; also CPC operators (increase_cpc, lower_cpc, match_cpc)
- Targeting:
- Status change: Enable, Pause, Archive
- Adjust bid: Increase, Decrease, Set; in % or currency; includes CPC operators
- Negative Targeting:
- Status change: Enable, Pause, Archive
- Product Ads:
- Status change: Enable, Pause, Archive
- Note: ASIN view can be aggregated (this is not multi-select but a view toggle)
- Search Terms: No multi-select actions
4. Settings & Options
The Edit Columns function opens a window where you can adjust which columns are shown and their order in the table. There is also a Select All option here–this only changes what you see and does not affect filters or row selection.
5. Limitations & Special Notes
- Using the button (Select up to {count} entries that match your query) is limited to 1,500 entries due to technical reasons.
- The header checkbox selects only the current page at first; use the bulk-select button to choose all relevant entries.
- Filter lists show a maximum of 100 items at a time. Use the search function to load more values.
- Some filters only work in specific tabs. If you see the message “The filter is not applied in the current view”, check your view or adjust your filter logic.
- Very large data sets may take longer to load. Analytics automatically safeguards system stability, which can affect query speeds.
6. Tips & Best Practices
- Always use the search in filters to look for names or IDs–this is especially helpful for long lists.
- If you want to select all matching entries in the table, use the header checkbox first, then click the button (Select up to {count} entries that match your query).
- Regularly review your active filters using the filter chips, adjust if needed, or fully reset them with Reset Filter.
