Overview

With the Edit Marketplaces feature, you can choose which Amazon marketplaces are active for your connected advertiser in BidX. Only the selected marketplaces will be included in reporting, automations, and management areas. Deactivated marketplaces will no longer appear in your dashboards or controls.

Accessing the Function

You can find the marketplace editing feature in your Account Settings under Amazon Connection. Start by selecting the desired region: Europe & India, North America, or Far East. In the appropriate section – either Selling Partner (Seller) or Selling Partner (Vendor) – the Edit Marketplaces button will be available.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Select Region – Set the Basis

Open your Account Settings and go to the Amazon Connection section. At the top, you can choose whether to edit marketplaces for Europe & India, North America, or Far East. For each region, you will see the connected Seller and/or Vendor profiles. If no account is linked yet, you will see either a message or a button for Amazon login.

Step 2: Check Connection – Requirement for Editing

In Seller Central or Vendor Central, check if your Amazon account is connected. If it is, you’ll see Your account is connected. and can continue. Otherwise, you’ll find a Log in with Amazon button to connect your account. Use Remove Connection if you want to disconnect – this stops data syncing and management in BidX.

Step 3: “Edit Marketplaces”

3.1 Start Selection

To edit marketplaces, navigate to the Amazon Connection section in your Account Settings and click Edit Marketplaces under Seller Central or Vendor Central. A window will appear showing a list of all marketplaces available for your account. Here you’ll see the account name, type (e.g., Seller or Vendor), the marketplace country, and currently assigned owner emails.

3.2 Select Marketplaces – Activate or Deactivate

Check the boxes for the marketplaces you want to use. Uncheck those you want to deactivate. If a checkbox is greyed out, that marketplace cannot be edited, for example, because it belongs to a sub-profile. If no marketplaces are available in your account, the list will be empty.

3.3 Save Selection – Apply Changes

Click Save Marketplace Selection to confirm your selection. Changes are applied instantly to your BidX account, and you’ll receive a message Marketplaces updated successfully. If there’s an error, it will be displayed as well. After successful saving, the window will close automatically after a short time.

Step 4: Check Result – Marketplace Visibility

To verify your selection, navigate to areas such as Discover, Automation, or Schedule. There you can check if your active marketplaces are visible as filters, country codes (e.g., DE, US), or flags and can be used for relevant features. Removed marketplaces will not be listed or available. It may take a moment for all data to update.

Settings & Options

The Remove Connection button disconnects your Seller or Vendor account from BidX completely for the selected region. Only use this option if you no longer want any data sync or account management via BidX.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Marketplaces are managed strictly by region. Be sure to select the right region: Europe & India, North America, or Far East.
  • Removed marketplaces are immediately hidden from reports, automations, and management views.
  • Without an active Seller or Vendor connection, you cannot edit marketplaces.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Check the selected region before editing to avoid inadvertent changes.
  • Consider how removing specific marketplaces will affect your reporting and automations – deactivated marketplaces will no longer be available in those areas.
  • If you don’t see the editing feature, clarify your access rights with your account manager as soon as possible.
  • After saving your changes, review your dashboards to ensure all desired marketplaces are correctly active.
