Overview

On the Amazon Connection page, you can link your Amazon account to BidX. First, select the region you want, then connect your Seller Central and/or Vendor Central accounts. Optionally, you can also link the Selling Partner API to access additional organic data. If you need to manage multiple regions, you can repeat these steps for each region separately.

Accessing the Function

You will find the feature in the account settings under Amazon Connection.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open the Feature

Go to your account settings and navigate to Amazon Connection.

Step 2: Select Region – The Basis for Your Connection

First, select the desired region. The available options are Europe & India, North America, and Far East.

  • "Europe & India" connects you to the European and Indian marketplaces.
  • "North America" applies to U.S. and North American marketplaces.
  • "Far East" is for East Asian marketplaces.

Step 3: Connect Seller Central – Gain Access to Advertising Data (Per Region)

In the selected tab, click Seller Central. Start the connection process by clicking Log in with Amazon. This will authenticate you with Amazon and grant BidX the necessary access to your advertising data.

Once connected, you'll see the status CONNECTED and the message Your account is connected. If needed, you can click Unlink to disconnect and revoke access at any time.

Step 4: Connect Vendor Central – Access Advertising Data (Per Region)

Similarly, switch to Vendor Central. Again, click Log in with Amazon to start the connection. After a successful connection, you'll again see CONNECTED and the confirmation message. Use Unlink to disconnect if required. The process is identical to the Seller Central connection.

Step 5: Enable Selling Partner API – Access Organic Data

After connecting Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, an additional row for the Selling Partner API appears. At the top, you'll see a notice that you must connect Seller and/or Vendor Central to get access to advertising data. Below, you'll find a prompt to connect the Selling Partner API to view organic data.

For detailed steps on linking the Selling Partner API, see this article.

Step 6: Connect Additional Regions – North America or Far East

If you wish to add more regions, just switch to the North America or Far East tabs, and repeat the steps for Seller Central, Vendor Central, and the Selling Partner API. The process is identical in each case, and you can manage each region independently.

Settings & Options

In addition to the connection process described, you will find the Edit Marketplaces option. Here you can decide, for each linked Seller or Vendor account, which marketplaces you want to connect with BidX. This is particularly helpful if you do not wish to manage all marketplaces in BidX and want to keep your view organized. Learn more about different marketplaces in this article.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Regions: The connection must be established separately for each region – Europe & India, North America, and Far East. Each can be managed independently.
  • Loading and Processing Time: After connecting, it may take a few minutes before all data is visible in BidX.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Connect both Seller Central and Vendor Central (if you use both) to ensure you get a complete dataset.
  • Enable the Selling Partner API as soon as possible after the basic connection to access comprehensive organic data.
  • Use Edit Marketplaces to select only those marketplaces you actively want to manage in BidX.
