Overview
The order determines the priority of your Bid Management and Keyword Management rules. Within a segment, you decide which Bid Management, Keyword Management, or One Time Rule is applied first. You can also change the order of segments. Segments listed higher up are prioritized when BidX makes adjustments.
Important: Bid Management and Keyword Management are executed independently. This means: even if the Keyword Management category is at the top in segment view, it has no impact on whether Bid Management runs – both categories act separately. The order only applies within each category. One Time Rules are listed in the Bid Management area but are not relevant for prioritization.
Accessing the Function
To change the order of rules or segments, open the Segment Management area in the main menu.
Step-by-Step Guide
Adjusting the Order Within a Segment
- Open Segment Management.
- Find the segment you want and expand it.
- You can now move individual Bid Management, Keyword Management, or One Time Rules using drag & drop. Use the handle on the left side of each entry.
If a Bid Management rule is higher up, it is applied before others. Place your most important rules at the top so they are prioritized.
Changing the Order of Segments
- Click the gear icon to open Settings.
- Select Edit Prioritization.
- Now you can reorder segments using drag & drop.
- When you are satisfied with the order, click Back to Overview.
Segments higher up have higher priority and are addressed first during adjustments.
Settings & Options
The Marketplace filter lets you control the view for specific marketplaces. However, the order you set always applies to the entire segment, regardless of the marketplace being displayed.
Limitations & Special Notes
- Changes to the order take effect immediately from the time you make them.
- Within a segment, the first entry has the highest priority, followed by those below.
- Between segments, those listed higher are processed with higher priority.
Tips & Best Practices
- Put your most important and broad Bid Management rules at the top of the list so that they are always applied first. Place more specific Keyword Management rules below them.
