Overview

The Manage Advertisers function is designed especially for agencies and larger teams. It lets you create additional accounts, assign individual roles, and decide for each user which pages (such as Dashboards, Management, Discover) they can edit, view, or not access at all. This allows you to always keep track of who in your team has which tasks and permissions.

Accessing the Function

You can access the feature via the Manage Advertisers option in the user menu.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open “Manage Advertisers”

You’ll find the main controls in the User Menu under Manage Advertisers. Important: This function is only visible if you are logged in as an Administrator or have the necessary admin rights.

Step 2: Edit Account

To change an account, click Edit (pencil icon) next to the entry you want in the overview list. Here, you can adjust the Account Type. Choose whether the account should be set as Advertiser, Account Manager, or Administrator. Depending on your selection, additional fields may need to be filled out.

If you select Account Manager, you’ll also need to specify which advertisers the Account Manager can access by using Access to these Advertisers.

If you select Advertiser, you can set the permissions for Dashboard, Management, and Discover areas through Permission Type > Custom. For each area, you can choose between “Edit”, “View”, or “No access”.
You can also use the Full Access option to give the Advertiser “Edit” permissions for all areas.

Settings & Options

At the top, you’ll see the total available Share of Voice Credits and the sum of all assigned credits. There are also info fields with notes on current account status or missing connections (for example, to Amazon).

Limitations & Special Notes

  • The Manage Advertisers feature is only visible to administrators.
  • Page rights take effect immediately: if you choose “View”, editing actions and related controls are hidden instantly. If “No access” is chosen, the page is fully restricted.
  • SOV credit allocation is always limited to the total available quota.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Assign “Account Manager” rights specifically using Access to these Advertisers instead of giving full access to everyone.
  • Use “Custom” page rights only if you really need different restrictions per area. In most cases, “Full Access” is enough.
