Overview

The Delete Segment function allows you to permanently remove a segment from your segment list. When you delete a segment, all automations and individual rules linked to that segment are also deleted. Use this feature to clear out outdated, duplicate or no longer needed segments from your advertising structure and keep everything tidy.

Accessing the Function

To delete segments, go to Segment Management in the main menu. You'll see your existing segments listed there.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open the Segment Overview

First, open the Segment Management area. You’ll get an overview of your segments. You can either manage individual segments directly or use checkboxes to select multiple segments for bulk actions.

Step 2: Delete a Single Segment

To remove just one segment, click the context menu (shown as a ⋮ symbol) to the far right of the segment you want to delete. Then select Delete Segment.

You’ll be asked to confirm the deletion. Click Cancel to stop the process, or Accept to permanently delete the segment along with all related automations and individual rules.

Step 3: Delete Multiple Segments at Once

You can also delete several segments at the same time. Select all desired segments using the checkboxes on the far left, then choose Delete Selected Segments from the action field above the list.

A popup will appear asking if you really want to delete the selected segments. If you click Cancel, nothing will be deleted. If you click Accept, all selected segments and their associated automations and rules will be removed. Each segment is deleted one by one, and the list is refreshed automatically afterward.

  • Before deleting a segment, check if it is still needed – all linked automations and rules will be permanently removed.
