Do You Use the Ad Group Default Bid Somewhere in the BidX Platform?

In the Analytics section of BidX, you can view and adjust an ad group's default bid – either individually or for multiple groups at once.

Answer

Yes, BidX uses the Ad Group Default Bid. In the Analytics area, under Ad Groups, the Default Bid (“Std. Gebot”) for each ad group is displayed in its own column. You can view and adjust these values directly there.

To adjust a single group, click Edit in the relevant row to open the editing feature and change the value under “Bid.”

To update the default bid for multiple ad groups simultaneously, select multiple entries and use the Edit Default Bid button at the top. Several adjustment options appear: you can increase or decrease the bid by a fixed amount or percentage, set it to a new value, or automatically adjust it to the current CPC.

Accessing the Function

You can access this feature from the main menu via Analytics, then within the Ad Groups tab. Look for the Default Bid column in the table. For individual adjustments, choose Edit (pencil icon) on the right. For batch changes, select several ad groups using the checkboxes on the left, then click Edit Default Bid.

Settings & Options

If you click Edit Default Bid after selecting multiple ad groups, a menu opens with several options:

  • Increase bid by: Enter a percentage or fixed amount.
  • Decrease bid by: You can also choose a percentage or absolute value here.
  • Set bid to: Set a new value for all selected groups.
  • Adjust bid to CPC: Automatically sets each ad group's bid to its current CPC.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Your bid must be at least 0 and can have up to two decimal places.
  • Currency and rounding rules depend on your marketplace and specific settings.
  • The Adjust bid to CPC option sets the default bid exactly to the current CPC value.
  • Note: When making many changes at once, the system processes them in batches. The status may show as “Processing” briefly.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use the integrated search or filters to find ad groups, or filter by Default Bid for efficient selection.
  • After batch changes, spot-check in the single view (row inspector) to confirm everything was updated as expected.
