Overview

AMC data gives many advertisers a decisive competitive edge. Recently, you can access your AMC data directly in the Amazon Ads Console (Seller Central). With BidX, you get even more – a dedicated AMC Dashboard with ready-made visualizations. Even better, BidX automatically creates audiences for you, like cart abandoners, wishlist entries, or retargeting segments, which you can use seamlessly in your campaigns. This saves you the hassle of switching between different tools and brings your AMC insights straight into your daily campaign work.

Accessing the Function

To use AMC data in BidX, you need to start the activation process under AMC Dashboard (Request) inside your dashboard.

Once the process is complete, your AMC Dashboard will be available within a few days, and your audiences will show up during campaign creation in the Campaign Creator.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Activate AMC Access

First, activate AMC access to use AMC data in BidX. Go to Dashboards and select AMC Dashboard (Request). Follow the activation steps provided there. Pay special attention to the section “How to Find Your Amazon Entity ID,” which explains where to find your AMC account ID in the Amazon Ads Console. Only after completing these steps will the AMC Dashboards and all related audiences be unlocked for you.
If AMC is already activated, the dashboard appears immediately under Dashboards and you can continue to the next step.

Step 2: View AMC Data in the Dashboard

After activation is finished, open Dashboards and choose the AMC Dashboard. You can find more information about each dashboard in this article.

Please note it might take a few days (usually 2 to 14) after activation until your first AMC data appears.

Step 3: Use AMC Audiences – Deploy Audiences in Your Campaigns

To use your automatically created audiences, go to Segment Management and start the Campaign Creator. In the Sponsored Products section of the bids and budgets page, you'll find an Audiences area. In the dropdown, you will see all connected AMC audiences, like segments for retargeting, high-value clients, cart abandoners, or wishlists.

You can select one or more audiences.
Use the percentage input field to set how much you'd like to increase your bid when someone from that audience is shown your ad.

If the Audiences section is disabled (greyed out) and shows a message, the AMC connection has not been established yet – please wait a few days or repeat Step 1.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Activating AMC is required for AMC dashboards and audiences to be available in BidX.
  • AMC data usually takes 7 to 14 days to be fully available, so you may see notes like “(-14 days)” on date ranges.
  • Without an active AMC connection, the "Audiences" section in the Campaign Creator stays disabled.
  • Loading particularly large AMC datasets may take longer than usual.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use Audiences for specific purposes, such as retargeting cart abandoners or wishlist users, or focusing your budget on especially valuable customers.
  • Work iteratively: first, review your AMC analytics, select relevant audiences, and then gradually include them in your campaigns.
  • Always consider the attribution window for AMC data, as up-to-date results may be shown with some delay.
