Overview
With the Reload Amazon Data function, you can manually trigger the retrieval of current performance data for all connected and active Amazon profiles in your account. This includes performance data for campaigns, ad groups, keywords/targets, and product ads, as well as updates to your internal product assignments. This function is especially useful if you don't want to wait for the next automatic data import.
Important: The update always affects all active and connected Amazon profiles in your account. The action runs in the background.
Accessing the Function
You can find the manual data refresh in the User Menu at the top right under Amazon Daten neu laden or Refresh Amazon Data.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Start the Manual Refresh
First, open the User Menu at the top right and select Amazon Daten neu laden or Refresh Amazon Data. This will immediately start refreshing the performance data for your connected Amazon profiles and update product assignments. While the update is running, the menu item will not be selectable for about 30 seconds.
Note: If no Amazon profiles are connected or active, nothing will happen. Make sure your accounts are properly linked.
Step 2: Waiting Period
After starting the function, simply wait a moment. While the process runs, the menu item stays temporarily disabled to prevent multiple refreshes at once. The refresh works entirely in the background.
If you have a very large Amazon account, it may take a few minutes before new data is visible everywhere. There is no progress bar or immediate update display.
Step 3: Check the Results
After the waiting period, you can reopen your Dashboard or Discover/Analytics or refresh the page. The updated data will then be shown and may appear gradually.
If you don't see new figures after several minutes, check your Amazon connection and repeat the process if needed. If problems persist, contact support with the time and affected profile for assistance.
Settings & Options
No additional filters are required for the manual data refresh. There is no selection by date or individual profile. The function always refreshes all active and connected Amazon profiles for your company. Downloading older or historical data is not possible – only current values are synchronized.
Limitations & Special Notes
- This function only updates Sponsored Ads performance data and resynchronizes internal assignments (“Corresponding”). Product lists and ASIN master data are not imported.
- The data refresh always applies to all active Amazon profiles (EU, US, FE, etc.) within your account. You cannot select individual profiles.
- During the update, the menu option is grayed out for about 30 seconds. There is no live status bar or progress display. Data appears as soon as it has been processed.
- Depending on the size of your advertising accounts and Amazon limitations, processing may take a few minutes. Clicking multiple times does not speed up the process.
Tips & Best Practices
- Use this function whenever you want the latest values in BidX quickly after Amazon changes like new campaigns or ads.
- One click is enough; triggering the refresh multiple times does not provide any benefit.
- Regularly check if all relevant Amazon profiles are properly linked and active to ensure you get complete data sets.
- For very large accounts, allow several minutes for the refresh and reload your dashboard or analytics page afterwards.
- If you experience ongoing issues or errors, check your Amazon connection. If there are still no updates, contact support with the time and affected profiles so we can help quickly.
