Overview

The overview in "Manage Advertiser" displays all linked client accounts. In this section, you can:

  • Remove access permissions. For example, you can specifically revoke an "Account Manager's" access to a particular client.
  • Set access rights precisely by adjusting the "Permission Type".
  • Delete subaccounts (entire subaccounts) with just a few clicks.

This gives you, as an agency, full control over who can view or edit which areas – ensuring only authorized people have access to your clients.

Accessing the Function

To access this feature, go to the User Menu (top right) and select Manage Advertiser.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Find the Account

Open Manage Advertiser first. Use the search field to look up email addresses and quickly locate the desired client account. The table displays columns such as Email Address, Account Type, Connections, Actions, Permissions, and SoV (Share of Voice). Client accounts have the Account Type set as Advertiser.

You need the Administrator role to view this page.

Step 2: Edit Access

To remove a user's or an agency's access to a client, click Edit (pencil icon) on the relevant client entry. In the Edit Advertiser dialog, you can set:

  • Under Account Type, choose if the person is an Administrator, Account Manager, or Advertiser:
The Administrator has full access, including managing all advertisers.
An Account Manager has access to selected other accounts – you can define this directly. The Access to These Advertisers field lets you add or remove specific clients for this manager, granting or restricting rights as needed.
An Advertiser can only access their own subaccount. Select this if a user should not have access to any other account.
  • For Permission Type you can pick Full Access or Custom. The custom option lets you set permissions for Dashboards, Management, and Discover as "Edit", "View", or "No Access" – helping you control client access to each area. Click Save to confirm your changes or Cancel to discard them.

If you only want to restrict some areas, the Custom setting is recommended.

Step 3: Delete Subaccount

To fully delete a subaccount, click Delete (trash icon) for the relevant client in the Manage Advertiser section. A confirmation dialog will appear with options Yes and No, asking if you really want to delete. Once you confirm with Yes:

  • The user of the subaccount will be deleted.
  • If it is the last user, all related Amazon connections and Selling Partner profiles will be removed or deactivated automatically.
  • All assigned groups and individual rights will be removed.

Note: If the subaccount has multiple users, it will remain active for the others – only the selected user is deleted. A deleted user can later be re-created with the same email and reactivated, as long as there are no conflicts.

Step 4: Review Your Changes

After making adjustments, it’s recommended to review your settings. Check the Permissions and Connections columns:

  • The Permissions column shows which rights have been granted for Dashboard (green = Edit, blue = View, red = No Access).
  • The Connections column tells you if, for example, an Amazon connection is active or not.

Settings & Options

  • Under Share of Voice Credits, you'll see the limit of available requests. In the Edit Advertiser dialog, you can set credits individually for each subaccount.

Limitations & Special Notes

  • Only users with the Administrator role can access advertiser management. "Account Managers" and "Advertisers" will see: "You do not have access to this feature."
  • If all users of a subaccount are deleted, all associated Amazon connections will be removed or deactivated.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Prefer the Custom permission setting if you want to restrict just the access, but do not wish to delete the account – this is the safer option.
  • Remove client access rights by setting the Permission Type to "Custom" and the permission for each account to "No Access".
  • Always check the Permissions and Connections columns after changes to ensure your settings are correct.
