Overview
The "Regional Settings" feature allows you to set your preferred display currency. Once changed, all costs, sales, and other financial metrics shown in the app will be displayed in your chosen currency.
Accessing the Function
You can access the currency setting through Account Settings in the Language & Currency section.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Go to Settings
First, open your Account Settings and go to the Language & Currency section.
Step 2: Change the Currency
You'll see the selection field Select your preferred currency. Here, you can pick from available currencies such as EUR or USD. Your selection determines which currency the app will use to show all amounts, especially in dashboards and analytics areas. Note that the number and currency format in the interface will adjust to your choice.
Step 3: Save Changes: Apply Settings
After choosing your currency, click the Update button. Once saved, you'll receive a confirmation – "Your settings have been changed successfully. The changes will take effect after you reload the page." To complete the update, reload the page so all changes become visible.
Step 4: Check Result: Verify Display
Reload the page, then open a dashboard or a view with monetary values. Now, all financial metrics – such as Cost or Sales – should be shown in your selected currency. The symbol and number format will automatically match your setting – for example, € with European formatting or $ with US formatting.
Settings & Options
In addition to currency, you can also set other preferences under Regional Settings, like language or date format (e.g., DD.MM.YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY). This way, you can personalize the app interface to fit your needs.
Limitations & Special Notes
- Amounts are automatically converted from the marketplace currency to your selected display currency using stored exchange rates. Values might differ slightly from the originals on each marketplace.
- In sections like Billing and Payment Overview, the actual product or payment currency will still be shown. The display currency setting does not affect these areas.
- Some dashboards or reports may have their own local currency settings. In such cases, those local settings will take precedence.
Tips & Best Practices
- Choose EUR if you mainly use European marketplaces, or USD if your account is focused on the US.
- Exported data will usually use your selected display currency. Double-check the currency symbol before sharing files.
- If a value looks unexpected, remember that conversions and rounding can result in small differences.
