How can I assign a focus? What is a focus?
Within product segments, a different focus can be assigned to each row in Segment Management. The focus functions as a label for the row. The focus can be selected in the product segment on the right-hand side of the row.
It is important that the same focus is set for each row that is to be included in cross-advertising type keyword management. I will work only for rows with different ad types but the same focus. It is possible to give rows different focuses so that keyword management is carried out separately for both focus groups.
The focus is also relevant for the creation of campaigns. A focus can be selected in the general settings of the Campaign Creator, which determines in which row the campaigns are created and connected.
By default, the Generic, Attack and Protect focuses are available. When selecting a focus you have the option to create a new focus.
To remove unwanted focuses, first click on "Settings" at the top right in the Segment Management and then select "Manage focuses". Click on "Delete focus" next to the desired focus to remove it. You can also edit and replace focuses here.
