How do I use the bulk operations in the product settings and what are they useful for?
Bulk operations make it possible to change certain properties of a product via a downloadable file. The aim is to simplify the work involved in assigning titles, alternative titles and tags.
Where can I find the bulk operations function?
To do this, it is first necessary to open the pop-up for mass editing via the settings.
In this window, under "Export settings", it is now possible to export the information currently set for each ASIN as an Excel sheet.
Once you have edited this sheet, you can drag and drop it back into the field provided in the window that is still open.
All previous product data will then be overwritten with the data from the Excel list.
What can I enter in the file?
If you open the downloaded file a table opens in Excel (see image). All existing products are displayed with their ASIN, title and alternative titles and tags.
You can now change the title, alternative title and tags in this file, which will then be applied when uploading.
Note: The general structure of the Excel file must not be changed! Otherwise the system will not be able to assign the information.
